Nong Ho! It means, “Hello!” in Shanghainese. There is so much more to Shanghai than just Xiao Long Bao! It’s a beautiful metropolis where the East meets West, and the traditional versus the classic. That is what I love about Shanghai. It is a fascinating mix of Chinese houses with European design flair. And there are so many Art Deco buildings around. It has everything from the Classic Parisian style, to Tudor and English style, and classic buildings reminiscent of the old New York & Chicago. Shanghai is also a very modern city, with great transport connectivity and one can find food from anywhere in the world and various Chinese food from other regions of China.
Andrew Shee & Michelle flew our team to Shanghai where the couple are currently based for an engagement shoot around this huge metropolis. They wanted to do something fun and casual at some of their favourite spots in the city. A big thank you to the couple and Michelle’s parents for the warm hospitality shown during our stay in Shanghai. There were just so many great spots to explore! The highlight of the trip gotta be the Alpaca. The couple loves Alpaca (Andrew Shee even got one tattooed on him), so an Alpaca was arranged to spent a couple of hours with us. I assured everyone that no Alpaca was hurt during our shoot 😛
We really enjoyed this one with our great couple in this great city! Let’s hope we will be back soon!
