These two beautiful souls, Peter and Sue are based in Canada; Sue being a local Malaysian girl and Peter was born in Canada. They were making a trip back home to Malaysia and took this opportunity to engage me to do a pre-wedding session with them. After some discussion, we finally settled for Cameron Highland. The weather was very good, and it’s really a good plan to do a shoot here in the Camerons. As usual for me, it was a fun day out with the couple, and both of them are such crazily fun people. Did I mention that Peter is a cop in Canada. I mean, how cool is that?
Cameron Highland is a place which I really fancy, personally. It is a just a short drive from the city, and during the weekdays, it is a really nice place when there is less tourist and less traffic. Food is really good as well if you know where to find the good ones. I always try to drop by Jasmine Cafe for their smoke duck, and Yong Teng cafe for their scrumptious fresh fruits pancake. And of cos, try the local scones served with local Cameron Highlands tea. There are a few good places for scones and tea.
Sometimes, the people we meet and the things we do in life greatly affect us. And this trip, it made me truly fell for Cameron Highlands. In the past, I see Camerons as a commercial tourist destination. But try to drop by Cameron Highland on a weekdays, and you will fell in love with the other side of this valley; serene and peaceful with beautiful weather amongst the lush greeneries and hills. The cool weather, lush greeneries, good food and beautiful people. What’s not to like about these?
